Based in Mossel Bay, Garden Route SharLeBel is a proudly local company that manufacture a range of foodies delight products that will tantalize your taste buds.
By now all of us know life is not always what we dreamed or planned but we belief that we will get there with the building blocks of life. Sharlebel is in the business of foodies delight! Every new product starts with a hero ingredient and thoughts of uniqueness of a yummy product. A combination of quality raw ingredients, classic cooking and a twist. Most of our products has a fundamental healthiness in them but now and then the sugar win. Our food is about adventure – adventure in cooking and taste. Life is not boring why must your food be. Our mission is to make other people passionate about creativity of food.
We believe SharLeBel products taste incredible because it’s made ethically, sustainably and with utmost care and thought. We want to offer an authentic taste experience – from the moment you taste our products until you serve that top chef dish to your family.

SharLeBel exists today because of 3 people, with different life stories and dreams, whose lives come together building a dream of food products where people go wow!
Charlene van Niekerk
Charlene loves new challenges. Give her a problem and she will solve it.
The full mushroom production run is her responsibility and she takes her quality and risk management serious! Her extensive experience was built through research, reading, testing and overcoming challenges.

Elma Bosch
Elma is the people person.
She is the owner of SharLeBel Stall at Outeniqua Family Market, George. Every Saturday between 08h00 and 14h00.
Visit her for some really nice tasting and friendly service! (I mean it!)

Lenette van Wyk
Lenette is the creative one.
Definitely creative with admin and finance! New product development is her passion! She will put Shiitake in everything and try new recipes to see what will be the perfect product for our customers. ( Yes , the rest of us must do the tasting!) Lenette is the creative initiator with the branding.
But as she says – it is not what you know, it is who you know!
