Dried Mushrooms

Dried Mushrooms are a must for any pantry! Dried shiitake mushrooms can easily add deep savoury umami flavour to dishes. Soak them, fry them or add to any dish!

Soak the dried mushroom mix in luke-warm water to rehydrate for an hour. Don’t waste that liquid — use it instead of chicken broth or as the base of a sauce or even add to soups.

  • Add to not-so-flavorful mushrooms to give them a flavor boost
  • Add to any stew, sauce or soup

After rehydrated and pat dry. Fry in oil until soft, add salt & pepper.  Then…

  • Enjoy
  • Add to breakfast as side dish
  • Topping on toast
  • Add cream for a delicious mushroom sauce
